Why an A7

Technical articles

Having spent some time looking around secondhand book shops (Hay-on-Wye - is an excellent source), I have found a number of 1930's books and magazines which were aimed at the home mechanic and proffessional mechanics alike. Many books and magazines were produced in the "make do and mend" period both before and during the austerity years of the 1940's and 1950's. While these publications were general, covering the most popular makes and models of vehicles of the period, thare are many articals specific to Austin Sevens as well as general articles that apply to many make and models. I have decided to reporduce some of these articals here concentrating on ones that I have not seen anywhere else and featuring information I beleive to be particularly useful.
